Spaghetti Lunch…

East Maiden is thrilled to be sending 41 students and adults to summer camps this year! We need you to help make this happen so on Sunday, June 3, we will serve a spaghetti lunch following our morning worship schedule. Come that morning for our Graduate Recognition Service and stay for spaghetti! The cost is $7/adults & $3/children.

Additional copies are available for a suggested donation of $5.00. We are excited to present this directory as a testimony in pictures of lives that are being changed by the work of God through in Christ.

Summer Camp Fundraiser….

East Maiden is excited to send 41 students and chaperones to camps this summer. Kid’s Korner Children’s Ministry will be going to Centri-Kid june 26-30 and Thru-The-Roof Student Ministry will be going to M-FUGE July 16-20. We ask for your help in sending these students to camp by participating in fundraisers! Our first fundraiser will be this Saturday, April 21 at the Maiden Galaxy Food Center. We will sell hamburgers & hotdogs from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. If you would like to provide a dessert for us to sell on Saturday, please have it at the church office by Friday at 3:00 PM. The dessert needs to be sliced and individually-wrapped, ready for sale.

Join us this Saturday and help these students go to camp! We believe God is doing something big through this generation!

Thanks to your help, our students raised $1100 today to go toward Summer Camps! Thank you so much!

Easter at East Maiden….

Easter celebrates the greatest day in the history of creation: When Jesus came forth from the tomb, defeating death and opening the door to eternal life! East Maiden invites you and your family to celebrate the resurrection of Christ with us throughout Easter weekend. Our Easter celebrations are as follows:

Friday, April 6 - Thru-The-Roof Student Ministry Passover Meal will begin at 6 PM. Our middle & high school students will celebrate Easter by observing the last meal Jesus shared with His disciples.

Saturday, April 7 – Annual Kid’s Korner Easter Celebration! All families are invited to join us for a time of worship, crafts, an egg hunt and pizza lunch. Meet at East Maiden at 10 AM.

Easter Sunday (Sunday, April 8) will begin with Sunrise Service at 7 AM followed by breakfast at 7:30. Bible Study will begin at 8:30 and Easter Worship at 9:30!

Come celebrate the greatest event in human history with your friends and fellow believers at East Maiden!

The Reggie Saddler Family….

Join East Maiden for a One Day Revival with The Reggie Saddler Family! Sunday, March 18 will be a day filled with preaching and gospel music as Reggie and his family will be leading in worship through preaching and song. Reggie will preach in both morning services (8:30 & 10:45) and the family will be in concert that evening (6:30). So join us for a great day with The Reggie Saddler Family at East Maiden!

We would like to thank Vance Dalton & Lanny Ford, two Gideons from East Maiden, for sharing with us the work and message of The Gideons International. This offering was collected in memory of our brother, Cecil Parker and totaled over $2000! Your giving to this ministry will ensure that more copies of God’s Word will be placed in the hands of more people across the globe! As it has been said about The Gideons International, “Jesus is the Son of God; The Bible is the Word of God; and, through Christ, we can become Children of God!”

Join East Maiden on Sunday for a special report during both morning worship gatherings from The Gideons International. The Gideons International is a ministry arm of the church that seeks to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the distribution of Bibles. The organization is made up of Christian businessmen & professionals who are committed to communicating the life-transforming power of the Gospel. The organization recently celebrated 100 years of ministry and today has a voice in over 190 countries. The Bible has been translated into more than 90 languages. The Gideons International have distributed more than 1.6 billion Bibles worldwide. Sunday, our guest speaker will be a member of The Gideons International who will share of the work. An offering will be collected at the close of both worship gatherings to support the ongoing ministry of The Gideons International.

At the close of the service, you will have the opportunity to give to a collection for the work of the Gideons. The offering this morning will be in memory of our brother, and late Gideon, Cecil Parker.
