EMBC on November 3rd, 2017

Join us this Sunday at 9:00 AM for Bible Study and at 10:00 AM for Morning Worship. This will be a very special day as we celebrate our 90th Birthday Anniversary. On November 5, 1927 several men and women came together to form East Maiden Baptist Church. We will worship this Sunday with hymns and anthems, our Preschool Choir will sing and Rev Fred Thompson of Newton NC will bring the message. Following the worship hour we will meet together in the Williams Building for a meal of Barbeque, Chicken Strips, Potatoes, Baked Beans, Slaw, Rolls, Dessert and Drink. We invite you to join us this Sunday as we celebrate 90 years of Worship and Ministry. Don’t forget to turn your clocks back an hour on Saturday night!

EMBC on September 20th, 2017

This Sunday, September 24 will be our Annual Picnic in the Park at Julian Price Park in Blowing Rock!  Join us for Bible Study at 9:00 AM followed by Morning Worship at 10:00 AM.  We will meet at Price Park and plan to eat at 1:00 PM. Bring your lawn chairs & a picnic basket of food & drinks. The church will provide paper products, ice & tables.  Plan to stick around after lunch for games, fellowship, lots of food and before we leave we will share in a short devotion.  Please be sure to join us for Picnic in the Park on Sunday afternoon!  You will be glad you did!

This Sunday, August 13 will be a great opportunity for you and your family to come to the Lord in worship through the person and work of Jesus Christ. East Maiden will remember the sacrifice of Christ by observing and sharing the The Lord’s Supper. We will celebrate the resurrection of Christ by coming to the table and expressing what God has done, what God is doing, and what God will do and you are invited to know the Eternal God with East Maiden.
